Saya dilahirkan dalam keluarga Kristen dan menjalani ibadah secara rutin tetapi sangat mudah untuk saya jatuh sakit. Dalam Gereja sebelumnya, saya tidak di-ajarkan kebenaran secara jelas apalagi tentang perpuluhan. Ketika mulai bekerja di Singapore pun masuk Gereja hanya sebagai hal yang rutin atau ikut-ikutan, tetapi per-tolongan Tuhan dalam pekerjaan selalu nyata walaupun saya tidak pernah menya-dari bahwa itu pertolongan Tuhan. Salah satunya pekerjaan dalam menjaga bayi yang saya tidak tahu sama sekali, Tuhan memberi kemampuan bahkan sampai mereka tumbuh menjadi remaja.
